¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español!
At PS/MS 122 we focus on learning the basic grammar points of the Spanish language while focusing developing listening, speaking, writing and reading skills. Students will have many opportunities to participate in exciting and effective learning activities in class Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world.. It is also a very rich culture with beautiful traditions. Through extensive exposure and study the students will take away a real sense of the Spanish-speaking world.
Our students begin with Spanish in the 6th grade and will take the NYC Spanish Proficiency exam in June of their 8th grade. By scoring a passing grade on this exam, the students earn one year of high school credit for a foreign language. Over the last ten years, 100% of our students scored a passing grade.
